One of several cards that I had the pleasure of illustrating for the 2012 Magic the Gathering Core Set.

It was a great change of pace to be able to do a still life, inanimate object but still try to give it life and warmth. Hopefully I delivered on it.

I know an artist who complained about getting an item card for a game we are both working on, like he was too good for it. I hope he sees this and how you utterly knocked out of the ballpark and into the next universe. You definitely delivered here man, can't wait to see more and more of your work!
