1 of 2 comissions I just wrapped up for Bungie for thier new game HALO 3: ODST.
Due to request from Bungie Im not able to display a print resolution image.
These comissions from Bungie were without doubt the most intense contracts ive ever taken, the turnaround time to produce the final image was almost inhuman, I had 5 days to finish it with the image specifications being 11.5 X 10.25 @ 300DPI; it had gone from a cover size to a foldout size a day before we got the new deadline of doom.
Even the art director I was working with ( who totally rocks and was a dream to work with by the way) cringed when she told me, they got sucker-punched as well with the new deadline. The work was originally for UK Official Xbox Magazine, but im not sure what it ended up being used for.
To complicate matters I absolutely suck with vehicles and tech, my insticts seem to totally evaporate when I have to render them. Im also a stay at home daddy during the day until my amazing wife comes home, needless to say this sucker brought me to my knees in terms of testing my endurance, speed and rendering challenging content; not only is it tech and vehicles, but its daytime lighting and I had to use a ton of reference - all things I consider to be weaknesses in my abilities.
I got about 3 hours of sleep a night for those 5 days but it was totally worth it, I found out just how far down the rabbit-hole goes when it comes to my limits as an artist and you really couldnt ask for more than that.

Wow, this is so badass! I have to say you done such an awesome job with this and the details are so very impressive I'm a big fan of the Halo series and ODST happens to be my most favourite Halo game ever!
