Created from sketch to finish in Photoshop7 Ive been dying to do a sci-fi monster piece for a long time now and this one has elements that ive been trying to incorporate into a composition for a long time. I glanced at a few photos of various abandoned factories, camcorders and CDC biohazard suits for accuracy's sake, in addition to several close-up stills of a couple 80's horror movies used to get the expression I wanted for the foreground victim. I had a butterfly feeling when i clicked on this deviation!! I guess it was great expectancy, of how good i thought it would be!

Mann this is really good your research paid off big time!
That creature design is good and what even makes it even better is how you handeled the lighting and the colour of the light.
I think you have a real gift for using light and colour. that red and blue green light is perfect, it says voilent and cold (frorzen in fear). even how the picture is rotated gives a panic off balanced motion feel and reaction.
And i love how the monitor ehcos the image of the being and then how that image is distorted because of the turbulance in the area!!
Their ........!! are in trouble NOW! NO SUITE CAN save THEM. They should have done the job and followed procedure but no they were to busy horse playing. Some bodies head is going to be a cherry!!

But the glitch effect in the video is "ASDFG"-worthy.♥
This is my post stare reaction/observations.
That green distorted moinitor image is probally more terrifying than the full image ( i look at it and think O CRAP its upon us) lol. I wonder how it would have turned out if you did this from the pespective/view of a cam or night vision gogs so that you could use that monocromatic green light and the high grain, pixel defects ghost and V an H hold Distorion that the equipment would cause.
NOT THAT THIS IS NOT EXCELLENT or finished!!
Just love that little image in the corner.I now realise the the less u see the more scary it make the monster. that thing that your mind does where it calulates the best/worst scare senario for each individual. Your mind is the worst monster!
