Playing table-top RPG's and card-games 15 years ago is basically what started the whole mess of me wanting to do the art for the games themselves.
I owe a lot to my old buddies who unwittingly lit that fire within me, so when they told me they were starting up a play by email "Game of Thrones " RPG, well I simply couldn't resist the dork side of the force and rolled up a character.
Here's a very rough portrait of the Maester I'm playing, Meldrik Locke.
He's a crippled, deformed alchemist and physician who wears a mask in court; skulking in the shadows of the throne to advise and coordinate covert political operations.
Which is what I would totally do in real life if I were a scheming, deformed cripple in medieval times and shit.
Spent about a night on this, felt great to just sketch and play.
