Beneath the Blackened Heavens by *Cryptcrawler - This artist's work is detailed in such a way, with attention to textures and facial features, that the horror-themed ones truly do give rise to shivers! This painting, in particular, made me want to recoil or at the least lean away from the screen, when I first saw it. It has an almost surreal composition, and yet the detail leaves one feeling as if this is a scene out of a movie -- a very realistic one.
